Are there gonna be ranks not SR?

I was wondering about this thing there realising early next year i cant get my head wrapped round what it is could someone please tell me

It’s going to be similar to the ranks in Halo 3 where your rank would go up if you won and down if you lost

so there will be like major general etc?

i know this is gonna sound stupid, but do they mean early 2013, or a year from now. i really sound stupid i know.

I’m really hoping they can that idea and stick with what they have this is my favorite ranking system in a video game so far.

I assume they mean January 2013 as a year from now is a LOOOOONG time to wait for an actual ranking system seeing as how every other halo game had one from day 1

yeh early 2013 i dont know why they dont do it in the first place cause i do not wanna get bored

in ranked games you will have a rank, while in non-ranked you will have your SR

i am a SR 30 and im thinking im nearly 50 im going to get bored :s

Looks to me like your overall rank will be SR, but your level in each of the specialisations will have their own abbreviations. Look in specialisations and Spartan-IV has the SR appreviation. Wetwork is WK and Operator is OP. So lets say you’re at level 56 and you chose Wetwork, then your level will read WK6… of course I’m taking a stab in the dark and could be way off
