Just curious, as the title of the game is Halo 5: Guardians, as far as I know the last main series Halo game to have a title like this was Halo 3: ODST. Is there anything revolving another Halo 5 game or anything like that known?
My guess would be that adding the “Guardians” subtitle is intended as a step toward calling Halo games by a title and not by a number. Bonnie Ross has said that she wants to move away from numbering future Halo games, and that if she’d had her way they would have stopped numbering Halo games starting with Halo 4.
There will definitely be at least one more Halo. I’ve heard that Halo 5 ends on a cliffhanger, much like Halo 2. So, I’m positive Halo 6 will happen. I am willing to bet more than that will come out as well.
