Since the introduction of local matches, solo players are not being matched. (To be exact, this started before the update…)
Is there any way to fix this spec as many solo players are not matching even when the matching setting is set to expanded?
Also, how long will it take to fix the spec?
As a solo player on Series X I do not have a problem - I can find a game.

Perhaps, but we think it is a regional thing.
I (we) play Halo in Japan, maybe there are not many people playing ranked matches in the Asia and Oceania region and it is taking very long to match.
If the matching time is not improved we will not be able to play Halo…
I feel it is abnormal to wait for an hour and have no matching at all.

Can’t get a match at any time… Seems if youre outside of US and maybe eu its dead. Time to afk until s3.

I am also playing in Japan and its impossible to find ranked games if I am by myself. I was hoping that forge would bring people back but if anything its made finding games even more difficult.
Been dead after 10pm in UK/EU since end of season 1. Ranked times out looking for a game and even quickplay and btb will struggle on occasion.
Pretty sure there’s something busted with the matchmaking as it should just put us into higher ping games in other regions if they find nothing in our region. I’ve been put in high ping US servers before so not sure why it doesn’t do that all the time rather than time out.
How is the matching going everyone?
I have confirmed that I can connect to the North American servers via VPN as I did with Halo 5 and I am instantly matched.
Does this mean that Halo is now region locked?
It seems to match relatively well when I have a party of 4, but not at all when I am alone. (Same goes for BTB and Quickplay.)
Does 343 consider this situation normal?
If normal, then this game is crazy.
