Are there aimbotters in team slayer?

I originally thought aimbotters were only in ranked ,but i’m seeing some supicous play in team slayer recently… Has anybody else seen or even confirmed it?

The game shipped with aimbot (when using controller). Seriously, the aim assist is very strong in this game and a lot of people know how to abuse it. There’s also tricks by adjusting some in game settings to make it even stronger.

But the old halo games had more aim assist than infinite… (replying to the guy above me)

Describe “more aim assist”. From what I remember the crosshair in prior Halo’s slowed your aim down when you aimed near an enemy. Halo Infinite actually locks on to your enemy and follows them. Here’s a video that shows that…

I don’t have any hard “proof” since i can’t measure aim assist myself, but i’ve been playing halo for a long time and i can tell you that hitting your shots in infinite FEELS harder, at least in part because the strafing speed is extremely high compared to older halos.
It’s a known fact that halo 2 had very high aim assist and magnetism, people didn’t complain back then because the hit registration was kinda bad so it was balanced that way.
Halo reach had high aim assit to compensate for bloom.
Halo 4 and halo 2 anniversary also have extremely high aim assist/magnetism and the hit detection is good, those 2 are the easiset halo games imo.

As you can see, people were complaining about it even in mcc, it isn’t a infinite “problem” only

Those videos are from the flights and I believe 343 responded to the criticisms stating that it was a bug that only showed up when PC players were standing still and not aiming (I don’t remember exactly). You’ll notice that the videos only show the issue when the player is not actually playing. (Understandable why they would record like this, otherwise an observer wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between aim assist and player input.)

That’s controller drift doing that. It doesn’t work like that if you set your deadzones correctly.

However there is a known bug giving players on PC more aim assist than intended.

It’s not present on console.

There is for the hydra secondary fire the pulse carbine… and a few other weapons…

They aren’t playlist specific - if you’re using aimbots then you don’t care what playlist it’s for

well i thought they’d mostly be in ranked so they can get that fancy superfical onyx rank…

I mean I am mainly a CS:GO player and they are more rampant in Casual than Ranked game modes.

It’s especially an issue when it’s F2P

Why do you consider aim assist to be aim bot, PC user?

I played my first match yesterday with blatent wall hack and aimbot. Theatre proof + back to back to back to back fiesta games with double digits perfects in eaxh with the shock rifle, career average 70%accuracy with 85% headshot accuracy… Ya okay.

Aim assist in infinite is very low, and bullet magnetism as well. I don’t why you guys are complaining so hard about it. Even MnK has bullet magnetism.

This game feels much better on MnK than it does on the MCC. I see people doing quite well from all inputs. I just think people want to complain about a problem they made up themselves. When you guys are done with controllers, you’ll start attacking your own. It happens every time there is crossplay.

I have seen people with 74% accuracy and it’s legit. People are just good.

Now if they are hitting every single round, tracking you through walls, and making impossible shots… then i’d agree.

Indeed they are doing that. Tracking someone mid jump through wall (enemy jumps out from behind a wall and they are already following the trajectory of the jump before the person appears).
Hitting a headshot when the other person is visible for only a few frames and they were previously not visible to the cheater (player jumping down to batteries on recharge while cheater is at back of generator - no line of sight but manages to headshot them mid air as they are falling into frame, before hitting the ground.)

In any given game, sure, but for overall career accuracy, even top pros barely touch that. I know I wasn’t playing against a top HCS pro.

There are players using aimbots and wall hacks. Some mistake that for controller aim assist. The cheats are easy to find, untortunately.

yeah a simple google search and some people even buy them…BUY THEM FOR MONEY!!

This is not true, there is no bullet magnetism with K&M. As I said, I play on both PC and Xbox. When I get around to it, I will do a video showing how on Xbox with controller, you can shoot just left or right or above a head and still land perfect headshots, and I’ll show the same on PC with K&M and how no shots will land.

I want to make this very clear, again. I am NOT picking SIDES. I’m simply pointing out the facts. I play on both Xbox Series X and PC. I do not favor one over the other.
