Are there AimBots in Halo 4?

Was playing BTB on Exile last night and the result was 1000 for them, 150 for us.

My entire team only got 15 kills (none for me), which just seems impossible. As soon as the match started, I got one-shotted the moment I ventured into the open and continued to have this happen for the next dozen spawns. After getting whacked like this 13 times, I just hid for the rest of the match as there was no way we were gonna win and I didn’t want to quit out.

Here is the match summary:

No, your team just got smacked.

Blame it on the matchmaking system if anything. There is no reason for the game to match two teams that are so imbalanced that the result is a 100-15 game.

I hate to put the blame on any form of cheating.

It’s more than likely that your team was just put up against a superior opponent team. Whether it was cheating, or the matching that put you up to that game . . . it shouldn’t have happened. Nomatter how I look at your thread, there’s a problem. I’m sorry that happened to you.

You got matched against a BTB full party. You rarely if ever saw this before but Reach made it more prominent and now Halo 4 improved upon it. You should never shove 8 randoms against a full party unfortunately it happens and games like this are the result.

Yes. All DMR’s come fully equipped with a standard issue aimbot. Maybe more members of your team should have dropped their BR’s, LR’s and Carbines in favor of the clearly superior and easiest precision weapon to use in the history of Halo.

I have ran into this 1 time. YES THERE IS CHEATING IN H4. I have been aimbotted before. I just quit the match when I saw what was going on.

I like how everyone says “they were a better team” lol…I believe you man because it has happened to me.

If you’ve got time on your hands you can find an exploit (or a way to exploit) in most games on the market.

Well, except Minesweeper. But its MP sucks, so who cares.

It happens.

Not saying it’s the case in your game, but better to dust your pride off and back out of the hopper when you’re done with the game and start over.

Whether it was cheating or just being put against a superior opponent, there was a problem there and this scenario should not have happened whether it was cheating or the matching system. It doesn’t have to be cheating to be wrong, and it’s obvious that was happened to the OP was wrong. It’s just that I don’t want to jump to cheating when there are other, more likely causes that are still wrong.

It’s not like none of us don’t care for the OP or anything like that. It’s obvious that I’m not alone in acknowledging that the OP ran into a bad issue, but don’t want to point the finger at cheating just yet unless it can be confirmed.

I’m going to have to heavily agree with this statement. DMR kills the gameplay. Halo is not suppose to be a sit back side step head popping game. Although, it has attracted those gamers.

It was about the AR and pistol, grenades and melee. What happened to the good old days of fun Halo. Hey, anyone can use the DMR, in this gaming world, it no longer requires skill, especially with its power, range and ease of use. It truly is the master weapon. I think if I had a choice in an ordinance drop between DMR and Rocket, i’d get more kills with the DMR (If not a load out weapon). Personally I hate the DMR, purely because it changes the halo gameplay.

Nobody is “Aim Botting” you noobs. The guy with 35 kills on the other team has a freaking 1.26 K/D…if that guy had an Aim Bot, why isn’t his K/D significantly better? What, he just randomly turned it on for this one match?

No offense OP, but you are an SR-96 with a 0.94 K/D. You really aren’t very good at this game. K/D isn’t the end-all, be-all…but when you’ve played the game long enough to reach SR-96, and you cant even break even, you simply aren’t a “good” player. What happened is that for whatever reason the game matched you up with a bunch of other below-average to average players…and the end result was a beating from a far superior team.

Look at your team OP. Of the players that finished the match:

NRTHERIP: 0.53
BADBOYNIZ: 1.63
SLIMMERTESTER70: 1.04
ROCKMAN136: 0.54
DRTRAUMA89: 0.91
KASEKING (YOU): 0.94

So you have one guy that is considerably positive. One guy that is barely above even. And a bunch of guys that are below-even or worse.

I’d rather say your team got raped by the gauss warthog, it is pretty imbalanced imho.

Any evidence to back up your theory on cheating or aim botting? Just because I can snipe a gunner out of a warthog going at full speed doesn’t mean I use an aim bot. Anyone for that matter. Perhaps people have “good aim.” Got to love kids who think they are getting beat by an aimbot just because they got smacked hard. Accept the fact that the opponent was far superior to you.

OP, check their stats.

The top killer on their team has a K/D ratio of 1.26

That doesn’t sound like a modder to me. What happened here, was a terrible matchmaking system, that decided to pair you against a full party, who were working toghether.

An unfortunate match, but they happen.

Are there aimbots in Halo 4?

Short Answer: Yes.

Long Answer: Yes, but you will probably never see one.

Did you face an aimbot? No, it seems as though you faced a full party team. It’s annoying, but it happens.

Um lol. I can just see you playing any halo game. Running in a straight line, firing your AR and going trade for trade beat down. Yea takes skill huh. Precision weapons take skills. Yes the DMR is basically a weak sniper. They should have just keeped the BR and Carbine.

There is absolutely no need for an aimbot in Halo 4.
The game itself is already aiming for you.

The problem is matchmaking not cheating. All I do is get matched against far superior players. Then I take a look at my team at the base blowing each other’s vehicles up and tea-bagging each other. It’s the price you pay for playing alone… sigh.

Yes, it was aimbot. I have also encountered this, only once where i could prove it to myself.

Your team just got put down, that is all.

Where did you get this info? I’ve played with the DMR a lot, and I see no “standard-issue” aimbot. Whatever you are playing on must have some wonky mod or glitch, because no such bot ever showed itself to me.
OP, I’ve had that happen too. Whether it was an aimbot or a pro-level team shittely matched against novice players, or even both, I don’t know. But yeah, it sucks. Takes the fun out of the game.
