Today has been an all-time bad for lag and desync. 13 out of 14 ranked games so far have just been cripplingly laggy or desynced. I don’t know what to say. Aside from quitting Halo, I don’t even know what to do at this point.

took me and my friend 30 mins to get into BTB:. IE: Could not to connect to server, 3…2…1… no connection to server. Then when you get in there is only 3 people on each team. The same connection BS is in Custom Games!
THIS IS A VERY GOOD REASON WHY WE NEED OUR OWN DAMN DECICATED SERVER SOFTWARE!!!

Definitely feels like servers are getting worse. Feel like I’m going crazy, like how are the servers this bad. I’d love to play halo but btb is still broken, people keep getting disconnected from ranked battles leaving people in 4v3 shiethole, multiplayer in general in plagued with lag/desync, etc… Like why waste time let alone money on this nonsense.

Yep jumped on today after a few days off…hit reg was worse than it’s ever been. You know things are off when you go negative several games in a row and you feel like you’re shooting marshmallows. The game is broken and it continues to get worse.

The last good session I had was Jan 22nd. Since then it’s just been horrible. Before that I’d have decent hit registration and latency every other game, but recently I just can’t compete. The combination of latency due to playing from Asia with how bad hit registration is in general, and the latency just getting worse, means I don’t even know if my bullets are actually hitting most of the time. And I basically expect to get killed in 3 shots (according to my screen) from the BR at this point.

Dude, you act like that is easily obtained thing. It’s not like games twenty years ago had that… Like the very first God dang Halo game you selfish company! They would rather implement a quitban than let me play what I actually want to play.

There most certainly is a form of server decay. I noticed from launch that maybe 2/3 shots just vanished. But past few weeks i’ve noticed melee being unreliable. My guns no longer working. etc etc. It’s abysmal. BUT OH BOY LOOK AT THE COLOUR BLUE FOR 500CREDS!

People say things tend to get worse before they get better, but how much worse can it possibly get before it gets even an increment better? The only way it get worse is if you can’t even get online in the menu, because it won’t connect to the Halo servers at all

I could almost bet money that people may host Forge custom games over private online LAN servers, just to avoid using the official Halo Infinite Azure servers. We need P2P. The servers are unacceptable. Then again, people were crashing left and right during the HCS stream and they were playing offline local LAN. Probably wouldn’t fix much of anything

Yeah, I’m getting close. I’m beyond sick and tired of being killed by people who either just don’t take damage, or can suddenly damage me way faster than is possible because the game suddenly dumps a bunch of damage on me that hit me before the enemy on my screen started shooting, or frequently even appeared on my screen.

Even on 30 ping my shot registration is very noticeably delayed. I can tell when I shoot someone across the map with 2 bursts and get a hit marker confirmation, but a second later when my teammate finishes off the kill I get no assist. There is no point playing ranked until it is fixed, gunfights are a coinflip of whose shots are less delayed. I uninstalled the game today, if they are not taking their own game seriously then why should I.
