Since the game released I’m noticing a lot more desync, lag, unstable connections and disconnects.
Has anyone else experienced the same?

Your not alone my friend, it’s been a hot topic for ages, de-sync has got worse, alas looks like it won’t get fixed till after co-op and forge release
Thanks for the feedback.
The answer is definitely YES!
There are fewer and fewer players and more and more desynchronization.
343 industries is completely incompetent to solve this problem. And they just don’t care.
It’s just a shame! ![]()
Yeah I think they are. I’m frequently in higher ping games now. Guess people are leaving and search parameters have to be increased to get a game. It’s also taking longer to find matches. I’m in the UK - never had a problem before and my internet is solid in every aspect.
I presume if servers aren’t filled they limit the number available. Hopefully it improves when forge comes and playlists start having significant changes with regards to content
I was playing in a ranked Strongholds match , i had 20+ caps and we were about to win… disconnected from server. ![]()
yea i’ve definitely felt this! its like week after week i get more and more games where it seems i’m getting shot through walls and other various issues.
I had a ping of 425 at a brief period yesterday.
Everytime I play the game feels worse.
I’ve noticed that that my games can be fine and then the connection gets very unstable.
For example i was playing oddball and my ping was 28-30ms the entire first round. In the second and third rounds my ping would go from 28 to 90 then back again. I don’t think its my ISP as i don’t have this problem on any other game.
I’ve heard similar things have happened from friends and streamers ( Lucid ).
It’s so bad when it happens, it’s worse than pings over 100.
I doubt the game even uses dedicated servers like H5. I’d bet this game uses peer-to-peer because I haven’t seen connection issues this bad from any game using dedicated servers. Hell, I’ve had better netcode on peer-to-peer games! I think because of the declining playerbase there are less people playing in close ping to one another, so the hosts could be in East Europe while you are in US West, thus leading to worse overall connections.
No you’re not wrong. Doesn’t matter if it’s on an Xbox or a strong PC, both with nearly a gig/sec internet speed. You’re gonna see more and more rubber banding and dying around corners like it’s 2006 COD. These threads should be purged by mods with an option that just says “Yes it’s true” to anything pertaining to poor performance or design or decision making. If there is a negative option it either is true or 343 is working to make it true.
Haven’t personally had disconnects occur often, but I do get a lot of unreasonably high ping matches.
This is why we need the loading screens to show server location along with all the other details provided on MCC map loading screens.
Damn, sad if true. I quit about a month after launch due to the server issues… Only expected them to improve.
Just leaving this here

Inb4 people use theater as a excuse to defend the awful dysync
The theater but I though it was still broken or have thay fix it yet?
This is why we need our own dedicated server software for custom games so we don’t have to rely on this MS Azure Game Servers!
Peace!

I’m experiencing much better gameplay. Game is dropping for me. Of course desync is still there in every game, but full gameplay is happening on my end when I play Infinite.
