I was going to buy 7 but I am questioning it now after reading this. Would these packs only drop the rarest stuff if you are a high level and have already unlocked most of the stuff? As with the Req pack strategy here, I am currently spartan rank 74 and mostly opening silvers right now so I have a long way to go. Would it still be worth buying? I guess I can open them later if I do buy them. Unless it makes you open them right away, does it?

If you are still grinding silver packs the reach packs isn’t worth it. Is three random reach unlocks worth 48 silver unlocks? Also ALL the reach stuff is in the req system so you will get the reach stuff just by grinding packs.
In a word, no. Especially if you aren’t done with Silver. I’d finish all other packs, Gold included, and just wait until next time.

That’s not true. It has the Reach armors. Maybe the weapon skins. But it does not have the entirety of the Reach update.

Reach armors are in the req system. There is nothing exclusive in the reach pack. It’s still not worth the number of silver or gold packs you can open for that amount of points.
No it’s not worth it. You can get so much more from just buying gold packs like normal.

Oh. Yeah I guess that is true I must have misunderstood what you were saying. But seeing as how it takes 7 purchases to unlock all the Reach armors and what not, I would imagine if anyone is serious about buying those they would probably be using cash more so than 700,000 req points, but idk.
I think the Reach Armors in the Pack are just a Guaranteed Drop. I bought a Pack and got Emile’s and Jorge’s Helmets and when i got the Warzone Firefight Mastery Commendation done Emile’s Armor was in one of the Gold Packs i got out of the 6 i got for finishing the Firefight Wins Commendation and the Mastery Commendation. So yes the Memories of Reach items are in the Normal REQ Pool but the Memories of Reach pack is just a Guaranteed Drop on all the Items but honestly it would’ve been better if all the Items were in one pack instead of having to grind 120000 REQ Points or pay $70 U.S. or it’s Equal International Amount.
depends on how big your arsenal and collection already is. For me it is pointless as I almost have everything anyways, and you are better off just buying gold packs right now for me. But if you don’t have a big collection and there are just items that you really want, than go for it, it is your preference. How ever if you just want more bang for your buck with and don’t really care what you want, than it is not worth it either, as you are better off in building up your arsenal and collection the more correct way. It is all in what you want and how you want to play!
It depends entirely on you. If the Reach armors are your favorite (like me) then it’s 100% worth it because if you just follow the req packs they could technically be the last thing you unlock but even though it’s a lot of req points you can get your favorite armor this way. If you don’t really care that much about the Reach armor however I definitely wouldn’t bother.
All in all it’s about how much you want the armor from the Reach packs that should sway your opinion.
Unless you’re extremely desperate to get some armor/helmets/certifications, it’s not worth it.
As mentioned above, all of the reqs in the reach pack can be obtained through gold and silver packs. You will get them through silver and gold packs eventually (if you choose to wait it out, of course.)

I think it’s gone, and good riddance. This pack coincided with the inability to select reqs, hopefully the req system will work better now.
