Im already getting both the LE and Console, and since I want my gaming setup to be ALL halo 4 (And I therefore work extra hard this summer) so dont flame me for spending too much money on crap, trust me, people do that and imo its worth getting.
So that being said, is it worth it to spend another $300 on those Tritton Halo 4 dolby surround sound 7.1 headset? I probably will pre-order them, and does anyone have any idea when they will be available for pre-order?
I have a pair of trittons that are like $120. I love them and are great for halo reach and other fps’s. The bass is good for atleast. I wouldnt buy anything for less than $100 for gaming headsets

He didn’t mean that literally…lol.
It was simply just a metaphor.
I mean no wires what so ever. The X42’s have a controller to headset wire and the X31’s I have have a lot of popping and hissing, I’ll see what the X42’s have to offer…
Ok just looked at reviews for Turtle Beachs and Astros in general and they arent that good, even the PX5’s still get interference. I looked at the Warhead/Halo 4 Tritton model and they all say their amazing. So I’m forking out another $300 and going with the Halo 4 headset.

I doubt anything that serves the same purpose as my tv speakers is worth an extra $300
I could spend maybe $120 for headsets max, but they are really -Yoinking!- on the price for these.
Well, I myself would never spend that much on a simple headset no matter simulated audiochannels or even Gorge Lucas autograph. Then again, we all have different priorities and if a headset is important to you, they sure look like a worthy option.
Then again I shouldn’t speak about buying extremely expensive stuff, just got myself a new electric bike, 4000$. ^^

Your headset is one of the most important parts of your gaming setup. TV speakers only give Stereo audio, or 2.1. Left and Right. High-end headsets run 7.1 audio, meaning they issue sound from 7 directions, effectively surrounding you with sound, and allowing you to pinpoint footsteps, grenade bounces, etc. Along with keeping out all outside noises, it is the best way to fully immerse yourself in the game.
