I’m about to switch to mainly PC gaming and I’d like to have some Halo on the PC (besides Custom Edition). Are the Halo 2 servers still up and does anyone still play it?
Last time I checked the Halo 2 Vista still had their servers up. Played it about a month ago so, I’m not sure if that’s changed since then but I doubt it. But the population numbers are pretty low.
I thought they took the servers down…
As far as I’m aware, the official servers are no longer running, but the custom servers are. But be prepared for a low population. People report that it gets maybe 10-20 people at most at any one time.
The Halo 2 PC servers went offline around November of 2014, if I’m not mistaken. But custom servers are still up.
