Ghost are AI bungie had originally used and were planned to be used to play maps with players. Sadly bungie never removed their coding from the games engine so halo 2-reach all had things players named ghost that would randomly appear in unfortunate players games
Its possible youv had one in the same game with you but didn’t see it.

Lol. Oh god the memories I have from “ghost hunting” on the pit…spooky stuff when you don’t understand. I know there was some in reach, but I haven’t seen anything for Halo 4
