I honestly think they kinda imbalance the game with modifications like Dexterity and Firepower.
I heard it doesn’t really change much.

Dexterity runs the risk of being overused and i would laugh if if it’s used at higher levels of play. Out of all the options in the Support Upgrade, this one i see being used the most. I dont think Power Weapons should benefit from faster reloading times, just regular weapons as to balance it out. As of now, power weapons with slow reload times are now negated with Dex.
Firepower is interesting. Not broken IMO but interesting nonetheless. Good players will dominate with or without it. It’s good to use with an AR if your primary isn’t so good at close range.
They seem fine to me. Just little things that will help you adapt to your style, I will be using the Stealth armor mod, because I like to be quiet and unheard.

Well if someone who plays like 24/7 and unlocks the firepower mod they would have a good advantage

Dexterity some can agree on. I don’t think that even a spartan should be able to reload that fast. but hey, you don’t have to reload often in a firefight, so it only really effects the time it takes to get back into the battle.
As for firepower, not really overpowering at all. Instead of BR and pistol, you would have a BR and AR, or something similar. these types of spawns have been in since halo 2.

A slight, asymmetrical advantage sure but it’s the skill (or lack of) is what determines if a player can make the most out of an armor mod like Firepower. It’s cool that you can wield a DMR/BR but can you use those two weapons effectively? It doesn’t guarantee you an automatic win for every encounter.
Dexterity on the other hand, this one is more than just a slight advantage. Those who can reload faster can get back into battle quicker and since power weapons like Rockets reload twice as fast, removing the drawback from the weapon and thus, more kills without having to worry about someone getting too close.
Dexterity is the only one thats game breaking in 1v1s but the only other one that I can think of is the revenge one where you know who killed you last and where they are.

A some spartans were a lot faster and/or stronger than others. so they could do things quicker or with more ease.
OT: I personally think that they will balance the sandbox in their own way.
Firepower worries me deeply…

you still have to be able to open up the place where you store ammo, take it out, eject the old mag, and put in the new one(which, unless you can get it perfectly in every time the first time, should still take a second or 2 to put in the gun). Even with extensive training and augmentation, the human body can only move so fast. And the arm definitely can’t move that fast to do all of those different things to load the gun.

Agreed
They add some dynamics which add variables which make the game more fun. I don’t think they’re OP they’re just another level of customization that cater to certian playstlyes while not largely impacting gameplay.
All reload times need to be slower IMO.
To be more punishing and also so the dexterity reloads aren’t looking stupidly fast.
> Firepower worries me deeply…
On the bright side, we’ve done something similar to firepower without using it. I picked up the Carbine while having the BR in Halo 3, so it didn’t help my situation as much other than running of ammo. People are able to pick up weapons. The disadvantage remains the same since the weapon has to be reloaded or switched which pauses the action. So I hope you don’t have to worry as much now.
Overpowered? No.
Unnecessary? Yup.
The only one I’m iffy about is dexterity, it doesn’t seem like a slight advantage.
We’ve been over this, like, a billion times!
