I was wondering if anybody still plays Halo 4 and if it is worth getting some xbox live still!
I mean can u find games quickly? How’s the players quality? Are there just a bunch of players screwing around or can you actually still have some decent matches.
I was also wondering because of Destiny, which I think many Halo-players are playing a lot right now.
There are still people playing Halo 4 on both xbox 360 and the MCC. I switch back and forth between the two because my friend only has a 360. From my experience, the players on 360 are a lot less skilled. You’re more likely to get into matches against mediocre players, however, that also means that you will get mediocre players on your team. The MCC Halo 4 is much more balanced because the H4 playlist is ranked. You will be constantly matched with players that are around your skill level. Honestly though, because of Halo 4 auto-aim and bullet magnetism, the best players avoid it and stick to H2A and H3.
I always find matches quickly, even if it’s early morning, middle of the day, or late at night. You will get some matches that aren’t perfectly even, but usually it’s not terrible. BTB seems to have more people that are just screwing around, AFK, or team killing. Team objective always has a small number of players so matches can take longer to find, but nothing ridiculous. Definitely worth it imo.
Like everyone is saying a lot of the good players aren’t playing halo 4 anymore but there are still some decent players. I’ve been playing a lot lately cause I can’t wait for halo 5 and I feel like there’s some more people doing that same.
People are still playing Halo 4 and even Reach! I recently revisited them and found games actually quickly, some what even faster than in MCC believe it or not. But be prepared to play the same people quite often as the population is rather low. So not all the playlist may find games.

You should not do this. With MCC you can only play Halo 4 team slayer. BTB is hidden behind a wall of Halo 3 matches, and even if you actually get a Halo 4 BTB match what you will really be playing is Halo 3 + sprint thanks to the exclusion of ordnance drops and load outs. Not to mention that, for reasons I can’t explain, the game just doesn’t feel the same on the one as it does on the 360.
If you want to play Halo 4, play it on the 360. It works just fine there. If you only have an xbox one then wait until November when it will play your 360 discs.
