Hi,
For a month now I am having trouble to find players in matchmaking. It’s taking minutes and minutes. Is Halo 5 over, dead, one year later ?

Do you have the same issues ?

Last night I matched the same exact players in back to back matches in arena. This was at 10:30 at night eastern standard time. There should have been lots of players in the mid west and west coast . But obviously there wasn’t. ALL EIGHT of us(4 on each team) matched together. That tells me nobody is playing. I’ve also seen it happen to people playing on Twitch. Halo’s population is gone. But I expect on the weekend its better.

I’ve yet to have any issues finding a match. I have seen a few people saying that had, mostly in certain parts of the world.

I’ve not once had an issue with matchmaking. I get a match seconds after I search, and it’s always different players.

I haven’t had many problems getting a match either, so it must be a regional thing.

Yep… I’m busy with work though so it’s not as often right now. Just don’t have the energy for it.

I’ve been having a little trouble finding matches, and I have a really good connection, and live in the US. But It’s not too bad, some reason I only really have trouble finding matches in FFA.

Probably over 10,000 still playing. A wave of FPS’s have launched recently and pop numbers definitely going to take a hit.

Thanks for the different replies.
It’s obviously not my internet because I have the “supreme overloaded overoverspeed fiber optic” with 1Gbps DL.
I more or less think because I am in France, the servers are Europeans and not Americans and the latter are still populated. I changed my region to USA on my Xbox but I still have trouble.

I didn’t between the matches. But I will from now on. especially if I end up in a losing match.

i play al the time and i know alot of people that play. and wit

well what happens is the new seach set up it will try to keep u matched with the same people to save you time but sometimes it will bring in new people every now and then

I feel ya, during the day i try to play swat or team arena (Im from the us and have good internet) and it takes a lil bit of time to find people

What region are you in? I almost never have trouble finding matches, and if I do, it’s always either my Xbox freaking out or my internet, after restarting both everything always works.

It also depends on what rank you are in, when I am on alt accounts I have trouble finding games in bronze, and sometimes silver. but never gold or above.

The only time I have a hard time finding games is early in the morning on wz assault.
