stats page…I have 45,000 kills total, yet somehow have 98,000 mongoose kills, 83,000 DMR kills, and 53,000 sniper kills.
Oh, and 36,000 head shots. Plus 22,000 beatdowns. If you can understand basic math, you know this is entirely impossible.

Damn, I never knew I had a 40,000+ K/D spread with a DMR.
Or 50,000+ K/D with a mongoose.

perhaps it’s total? Like as in campaign, firefight and MP? Also, I think the mongoos symbol is saying you have that many kills with UNSC weaponry

you have 45,000 total MULTIPLAYER MATCHMAKING kills, the mongoose represents total kills across all gametypes for UNSC weapons, 53000 total kills for all scoped weapons (mouse over the sniper for list of all eligible weapons, 36000 headshots across all gametypes, and 22000 pummels across all gametypes

That is all “Scoped” weapons, not just the DMR. It includes the DMR, Rocket Launcher, Magnum, Spartan Laser, Needler Rifle, Plasma Launcher, Target Locater, Fuel Rod, and the Focus Rifle. The “K/D spread” you’re referring to is not the actual spread, it is the kills minus deaths. If you want the actual K/D spread, you can divide the kills by the deaths.
K/D = kills over deaths, or kills divided by deaths, or how many kills you obtain per death.

I thought of that, and it explains quite a bit…but some of the numbers still don’t add up.
Aha! Thanks! That fixes 99% of my issues, but now the numbers still don’t match when you add up the medals. Example: claims I have 2,736 vehicle kills. According to my commendations in campaign ff and MM(1709+1285+155) I have quite a few more: 3,149
And that applies to all the stats. They’re all off, but not by as many as I thought…

I believe some statistics aren’t updated immediately, only the vitals are updated after every game. The smaller statistics are probably updated once a month or so.
