Are SpartanOps really supported after Sunset?

Well, with the current Halo 4 outage Spartan Ops are unplayable. Is 343’s sunset announcement claiming SpartanOps will be supported after sunset an error?

Perhaps they meant you would be able to play it solo. I see people are having issues playing H4 online, but were you trying to play solo or with another person?

Clearly, you haven’t actually launched Halo 4 in the last 24 to 48 hours and actually clicked on Spartan Ops, right? Today Spartan Ops are unplayable solo or co-op… because the mode requires the servers… and the servers are down with no one in the house at 343 available to check on the heath/status of the playability of their legacy games.

Just a heads up, that come December… based on what we see today… Spartan Ops won’t actually work as 343 has implied they will. Unless they patch the game to remove the online requirement.

No, I haven’t. That’s why I was asking whether you you played solo or co-op because I was curious about what was happening. I thought 343i may have meant SpOps will work after the sunset, but only when playing solo. Seems like that may not be the case.
