I am trying to complete all commendations, and one of the ones I need to complete is “Unstoppable” - Survive a Round of Breakout. Well I survived several rounds and I’m still sitting at 1/30 on level 5. Also, does Mantis Breakout not count for breakout under the Action Sack playlist? I’m pretty sure I survived a lot of those.
Mantis Breakout doesn’t count, I’m pretty sure.
And try restarting Halo 5 to see if the commendations refresh. I’ve had that issue before.

And uh, if restarting H5 doesn’t work, try power cycling your Xbox.

Also, I find it silly that mantis breakout doesn’t count. I thought certain modes on Action Sack were on there specifically to help you reach commendations achievements.

I just figured it didn’t count because to Mantis Breakout is in the ‘Action Sack’ playlist.
And you’re right, we did get destroyed. I quit after I got cross-mapped BR sniped out of a Ghost Ultra.
I played ranked breakout just now, survived at least 3 rounds and nothing changed. And whenever I played Mantis Breakout I wasn’t ever really paying attention to if I was getting closer on that commendation.
Yeah after I noticed no one on our team going for boss kills or doing anything really, I just camped our garage with a blazing glory and waited for kills. Which is why I went 13 and 3.

So? It’s still a breakout game and they were counting towards commendations unless they changed it. I pretty much ignore breakout commendations though because that game type is total toilet.

Same. I don’t want to play breakout. It’s not very fun. If I wanted to play that mode I’d play Gears of War. Mantis Breakout though I don’t mind. Which is why I’m irritated because whenever I play arena, it’s normally a lot of action sack and I’d get Mantis breakout quite often and thinking back I don’t believe it’s counted my survive a round on there.

Well it has been awhile since I have been in action sack but I do remember mantis breakout counting towards commendations.
The problem is much like achievements it probably realize on server connection or what ever so it could be buggy at times.
