my logic here is that we have the gametypes to recreate those lost gametypes. King of the hill can possibly be made into race, Regicide into juggernaut and grifball into assault. There isn’t really any issue here. please post you’re explanaition when you vote.

Recreating it is a possibility. i am sad that it is gone too but most of the complaints in the forums came from the classic gametypes being removed.
Well, here’s the deal. It’s not the ability to tweak gametypes to makes other gametypes that’s the problem. It’s the ability to make unique gametypes that’s the problem.
For example: yes, you might be able to recreate assault using Grifball. However, people aren’t trying to play regular assault in customs. They want the options that a pre-made assault gametype would provide in order to make unique and custom assault variants. While you might be able to make regular, old assault in Grifball, I doubt you’ll be able to make a bunch of cool, custom assault gametypes.
The same goes for VIP, Race, and Juggernaut.
You can try to re create them but we all know that it will never be the same. Getting the three waves, the hills and then the core. No remake I’m afraid would even come close to what it was. I spent a lot of time playing invasion and its sad to see it go.

we will see, i think the community is clever enough to make awesome variant’s of assault only using the griball variant.

We will have to see, and maybe. But I think it will require a lot of tweaking to even get the Grifball settings to a respectable assault variant.
Oh how I will miss assault. That one actually would make sense, you know, training Spartans to sneak in and blow crap up.
It’s obviously a problem. The new gametypes should have been added alongside the old rather than replace them, even a child could see that.

This, seriously.
