Yeah the Knight’s could simply be a metallic replica, presumably built to intimidate foes. That doesn’t found too far-fetched to me.

To scare enemies, it’s a good tactic to lower their defence. Also these Prometheans may once have been Forerunners and the skull is all that remains of their original bodies.
Forerunners are organic right? they look humanoid
I seem to remember someone saying they were partly organic…kinda like husks in Mass Effect…which would explain why they would not really count as “organic”

I think that they are sort of like Skulker from Danny Phantom, looks big and tough on the outside, but on the inside is just a little guy/alien. They are just wearing a suit. But I have never heard anything so yeah, just my two cents…

Have you read Cryptum/Primordium? The prometheans are described as over 4 metres tall and weighing upto 1000 kgs.

I believe in the books, they also mention the Spartans to be 7ft tall weighing half a ton? Well you see, it’s not actually the Spartans that are that big, its the suits…
prometheans kind of remind me of general griveous. Maybe they’re mostly robotic but maybe have some organs or something.
