Well I don’t know if this question has been answered, I don’t recall hearing anything but are Promethean weapons coming to Halo Infinite? Would you like them to be removed and why? If you want them to come back, do you prefer the Halo 4 or Halo 5 versions, and do you want any new Promethean weapons or concepts?
The heatwave looks very much like its a promethean weapon, just given a somewhat more classic art style. Its at the very least a ‘forerunner’ weapon.

It’s definitely unique. I was rubbish with it during the flight against bots though, lol.

Either the heatwave was rubbish or the bots were just that good.
But i do believe forerunner weaponry could make a return

The Heatwave actually looks interesting but I didn’t want to say it was a promethean weapon cause it doesn’t have the same art style or aesthetic as previous Promethean weapons from Halo 4 & 5

I don’t really want them to be back but i would be ok with it if they do they also probably will but in my opinion they weren’t very fun to me
Iit would be weird to don’t see them return, they are the principal army of Cortana and the created. They should appear a little and be improve
I’m sure at the very least the sentinel beam will be in the game, but I do hope some Promethean weapons return, like the Light Rifle and the boltshot (but not as a loadout weapon).

I think they said it’s a forerunner weapon. So Promethean no, Forerunner yes.

Probably im going to get hated on my opinion but I liked 343’s version of the sentinel beam more than Bungie’s in terms of aesthetic. Bungie’s version is like a solid weapon and probably looks more covenant if it wasn’t a silver color while 343’s version is all floaty and really fits the look with the rest of the Promethean weapons in Halo 5
I hope not. they were redundant at best, overpowered at worst.

They’re effectively one in the same in my books. The lore for all promethean weapons describes them as forerunner weapons, and not being exclusive to prometheans.
i believe they will in some parts of the game

Didn’t know that but it makes sense, the Forerunners created the prometheans and therefore their weapons.
Actually, yes! The Heatwave is a Hardlight-based weapon once used by the Forerunner Military as confirmed by the multiplayer overview and a post by Jeff Easterling. It is essentially a grenade launcher-type weapon that shoots semi-automatic blasts of purple Hardlight that can disintegrate organic material. This is the only one we know of so far, but there may be more!

It would be cool to see I suppose but I think we’ll be seeing sentinels come back as the replacement of the Prometheans so think sentinel beams for forerunner weapons.
