I feel that people are quite selective on what they respond to and it can be quite an annoyance even though I am not forcing you to view my posts or anyone elses but whenever an issue occur or comes up, I would think some nice and generous people would lead a helping hand to help out a fellow player or offer to help them in any way possible. I feel people on these forums nowadays are selective and ignore certain people.
What happened to helping each other and being considerate towards one another? I feel that has gone along with the past which sucks and at times I feel it might be better to just send a private message to people if you want an answer and even that doesn’t work at times. Maybe the mods would be more help than some of the people here on the forums.
Whenever someone is asking for help, I stop to view their post and I respond to them according on whether or not I can help them. I like to show hat kind of respect towards other members of this forum and to be at least a decent human being.
Some people just need to learn to help themselves. If it’s a question that’s been asked and answered a million times, you’re better off using the search function for solutions, otherwise you’re just asking for a drama.
Depends who is online at the time that is able to answer questions. The forum moves very fast so if nobody is online that knows the answer to your question within an hour they may never see your thread.
The way i see it, i am selective in a sense. But its usually if its an issue and i dont have any cmue what to do, i dont reply because it just adds to the noise. But if i experience the same issue, ill sometimes offer how i tried to fix it or did or what not. That way its not unneeded noise.
So yes, selective, but its ideally to help make solutions quicker.
Does that make sense?

Not saying it’s a bad thing to help yourself and yes referring to the same questions asked over and over again tend to be answered several times but there are some out there are have a reasonable question that get overthrown by irrelevant posts that ppl make. Just wondering overall.
If they’re a quitter asking for leniency from the banhammer I tend to criticize them rather than help them.
Praise be to the mighty banhammer!

Basically this. I usually try to respond to the posts that don’t get a lot of attention, but it does get tiring answering the same questions over and over again. A simple google search would suffice, as that usually lands a link to the forums.
I’m very selective, but only based on whether or not I have something useful to offer or some little home truth that the poster needs to hear. There’s nothing personal about it.

Understandable because I was trying to figure out about trying to find a Spartan Company that dealt with Forge and sadly I don’t have the time to look through the 300+ pages and even the filter isnt the best.
I only ignore people I dislike…which to be honest is somewhere around 3/4ths of this forum.
In your case it’s because I don’t know a single thing about how the forge physics budget works.
I’m not really gonna stop to respond to someone if I can’t help them. That just wastes both of our time.

Which I understand. Would anyone have suggestions to who I might go to, to have this explained to me?
Could try registering here and asking.
Some quick google searching has led me to a few semi-helpful posts. Mostly about how terrain objects just completely destroy the physics budget if not used carefully.
If I know anything about the problem I try to help the community

Yea because I have a current map in the making and it highly consist of rocks and terrain and the budget it at 99% and I haven’t gotten the other half of the map done yet. Which sucks.
