My Spartan Company basically died after we got Achilles a few years ago and some of the leadership were considering trimming down the inactives and finding some active players to fill the ranks so its easier to get some parties or customs on the go.
My concern is that it will be hard to recruit people to a clan that had already unlocked Achilles if a lot of people were still actively trying to get it… if that is the case we may opt to create a new one and start the grind again.
Id say create a new one. Thats what we did after we got the helmet. We made Legendary Achilles 2 months ago, already got the armour & now are over half way to helmet. We have built quite the community. Great for getting fireteams together.

Funny: I was kicked out of the company I was in for inactivity (my mom got sick and I had to take care of her) and I can’t find a company who’s trying now. Also the leader of that company is a mod here now, and that just makes me feel all kinds of weird.
i am part of a company still grinding for achilles and only have level 5 commendations left. halofanforlife
It’s not like it use to be but some people are still after he Achilles. Most people imo either have it or don’t care…or both
My company has 90% of the commendations but we are looking for active players because the numbers of the commendations are insane for a few…
The company I’m currently in started a new one after we got Achilles the first time.

I’m still looking for the helmet, my company has basically died off, I still play actively but I like to lone wolf it most of the time which most recruitment companies don’t like. Not into the scheduled plays or required to group up.
Yes, people are still trying for Achilles. My company just got the armor. We share a discord with several other companies and that makes it easier to find people to play with. You may try that route. On the other hand I have heard you can ‘sell’ spots in companies that are close to getting the armor/helmet. So members that have the armor could do that I guess.
Yes there are still people interested in the Achilles set. However you can still keep your current company and just refresh its focus to building a community of active players. There’s always a demand for it and most don’t enjoy playing Arena or WZ solo.
I stopped trying long ago when I realized that you need to be in a Spartan Company of 99 others to get it. To get a piece of armor for my character, I shouldn’t have to rely on so many others to get it.

yeah I can definitely see where you are coming from.
I did enjoy the grind and community it builds, I think feelings like yours would have been eased though if they offered other armour sets that were challenging to get but could be done either solo or with smaller groups like Recon, or Helioskrill (but Helio can be obtained randomly through REQs)

Now don’t get me wrong. I am all for a grind for something special. I would find the Achilles armor more preferable/enjoyable if you only had to master your own player commendations.

Well, there’s definitely a demand for active Achilles companies, so if you want to easily get some members to join your cause, you’re better off starting from scratch.
I am trying. But I am literally the only one in my company playing at all, so I am losing hope for the most part.
