are people still going to play Halo reach

Once Halo 4 comes is halo reach dead… because i want to reach the max rank

People will still play, they still play H3 and played H2 until the servers were taken down. And you don’t necessarily need other people to hit the max rank…

People still played Halo 3 when Reach came out.
People still played Halo 2 when Halo 3 came out.
People still played Halo CE when Halo 2 came out.

Safe to say there will still be people playing Halo: Reach when Halo 4 comes out.

Yes
I know I will, I’d still play Halo 2 online if it was possible on Xbox

I’m guessing me and the wife will still play FFD

I’ll be playing Halo 4 for a while, but I’ll definitely go back to Reach sometimes.

Let me answer your question with another question:

Do people still play Halo 3?

Double post, nice one.

Not Me im going to burn my Reach disk the day HALO 4 drops.

Although im sure a few will still play Reach after Halo 4 comes out .

It’ll only be as dead as Halo 3 is now. I’ll definitely play Reach every so often after Halo 4 comes out, but not all the time, though.

I won’t be, Reach will stay in it’s case after Halo 4 releases. I don’t see the point of going back to it IMO.

I’ll will probably still play Reach after Halo 4 comes out for the first month because I probably won’t get it right away. Plus you don’t need people to get to the max rank. Just play Firefight or Campaign.

Although I have had a lot of fun playing Reach, usually when the next installment of Halo is released, the previous one is shelved. I dont know, perhaps 343 will be giving it some attention and if I see anything that interest me then I might wander back every once in awhile.

> Once Halo 4 comes is halo reach dead

Probably.

The reason Halo 3’s still alive is because there are some things that you can only do there – all the expertise in the world won’t get it done in Reach. Doesn’t look like that’ll be the case with Halo 4, though; we have all of Reach’s Forge pieces, we have at least one environment similar to Forge World… Nearly everything that’s in Reach will get ported to Halo 4.

As with past halo games one can be all but certain a reasonable number of fans will go back and play Reach once Halo 4 comes out, at that point I think it may become increasingly harder (or just take longer) to find games and earn credits…just a bit, so I would recommend playing as much Reach as possible and maybe still when Halo 4 comes out to get yourself as close to the top rank as possible…this is exactly what I am attempting as well… (not too far away…)

I may venture back to Halo Reach every now and again…but for the most part it will be Halo 4 all the way…

Most likely not. It will definitely have just as many players as halo 3 does now but much worse over time. Halo 4 is going to better than Reach and with hopefully better balanced AAs, Reach will be left in the dust by casual and competitive. The only ones left will be those who haven’t gotten halo 4 post launch and those who dont like halo 4 and love Reach. The drop off rate for reach will probably be traumatically high so I expect 10,000 or less 6 months out

Definitely. Maintaining a population of 5,000 - 20,000.

But in the HIGHLY unlikely event Halo 4 is bad though, people will probably go back to Halo 3 instead.

> Once Halo 4 comes is halo reach dead… because i want to reach the max rank

Definitely. I still hop online on Halo CE PC and Halo 2 PC every now and then and there’s quite a few people online in both games still. I’m sure people still play H3 now. So yes. It won’t die. Not for quite a long time anyway.

Even when Halo 6 comes out on/if there is going to be a new console. people will still play the legendary Halo Games!!

No

  1. People will still have to transfer to halo 4

  2. Halo 4 will be so different that Reach is one side of gameplay and 4 is another, sorta like 2 different genres based on the same idea
