He may own his company now but it is possible that his starter company would need to make some music for others to help them fund their new game since the funds would have to come from somewhere. A lot of companies do this all the time, 343i are known for outsourcing like when they hired Blur to make H2A cutscenes, the only difference for him now would be that he doesn’t work for them directly.
Would be awesome, if true. Doesn’t seem that unlikely based on where 343 wants to go with Infinite, and the Halo 3 music in the trailer indicates this as well. It would excite the -Yoink- out of the community, that’s for sure.

It’s probably nothing but the “there was nothing random about our meeting” feels weirdly cryptic. He’s also tweeted at Steve Downes saying they missed him at the meeting which makes it seem more like a friendly meet up. I’m wondering if they’re planning some kind of collaboration for golem.

I really wouldn’t read into it. It’s more likely he was just being funny and they had planned to meet up already. I’ve tweeted the same thing a few times before myself when I’ve met up with friends across the pond
