so real talk. I wanna know if this forum or any other way of expressing feedback to Halo or even any other game is taken seriously by the devs and employees of the games. I only ask because I look at the way games are in comparison to the feedback I see online and if you look at one or the other, you’d really think that nothing at all is being read or taken seriously and that everyone making the games are just doing their own thing.
I’ll make one exception: the SWBF2 fiasco, but honestly that was expected and not all that surprising. Other than that, I cannot recall any time that anything I read online actually correlated to an in game change or modification.
They are - all forms of feedback are taken seriously by the team. While they may not respond directly to a lot of it, they actively read topics / posts on this forum on a daily basis. Also need to remember that feedback isn’t aways going to be acted on immediately. While a group may be vocal about something, that could conflict with feedback they’ve taken from multiple other sources so there’s always discussion to be had on the bes way to handle things.

I’d imagine they are to an extent. Otherwise we wouldn’t have seen the changes we have in H5 and MCC, and now Infinite.
I haven’t seen company staff so engaged with their customers before, so I’d say yes.
Judging from all the changes being made to MCC, I would say that the dev’s listen very closely to what’s on the forums.
Have you read the feedback threads in the different forums? The 343 employees do respond in them and changes have been made based on feedback.

Take a look at any of the posts from Postums in either the MCC forums or the Halo Wars forums
Hello,
I wouldn’t be surprised they read them often and actually use them to do some changes.
I’d say yes!
Later!
