Are Halo 2 pc servers still up?

I’m about to buy Halo 2 for PC and I’m just wondering if the servers are still up for it cause I’m desperate to play it online again.

The servers are still up and running and probably will be for a long time on the pc.

And even when they take down the official servers there will still be some unofficial fan own servers to play on.
