Curious if they are or not allowed in roles that deal with combat.
I BELIEVE they don’t go out and fight wars, but are more then capable of defending themselves. They are kinda the homestead guard for when the “men” are away from home and act as a defense force.

This was how they were depicted in Kilo V at least.
Much like Human societies, it likely depends on which Sangheili culture it is. It seems that the mainstream philosophy for dealing with females is to train them as a home defense to protect the young while the men are at war. But I wouldn’t be surprised if some or even many Sangheili cultures have actively employed they’re females in combat, seeing as they are a battle and honor obsessive, females are likely not free from this mentality.
I remember somewhere they were said to serve in political roles, like Councilors for example.
Doubt many served but surely some probably have.

This is closest to truth I believe. If they have military roles it is more than likely in the form of defensive militia, not raiding other keeps with the males, but it likely varies.

- Broken Circle. Not sure if you’ve read that one yet, but a female Sangheili talks about “defending her eggs” a few times. This is in reference to her defense of her home.
There was one mentioned, I don’t remember her name but I think she was some kind of mechanic or technician.

There was one from halo wars site.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the re-incorporation of some of the Ussans back on Sanghelios would led to a transition for females to undertake roles outside the Keeps. At least one helped develop Helioskril armor.
