Yes they’re now free for 360, they’ll be useable on Xbox one Back-compat whenever Halo 4 becomes part of the program in the next few months.

This is huge news. Can’t wait to actually get to use the maps I bought back in the day, but never got to use at the time in MM.

343 needs to be sure to require the download of the maps to play MM. Otherwise the maps will still not come up (if one person in lobby doesn’t have free maps downloaded).

Also, how about games with gold for Halo 4 to boost population.

All Halo DLC is free except for Halo Reach Noble DLC.
