Just wondering if I can in fact still get the Crimson Achievements. I just shot an enemy who was airborne from a man cannon on Wreckage and I didn’t get anything. Any Ideas?
Yes, you can still get the achievements. As long as you are playing on a Crimson DLC map. The Crimson maps are integrated into regular playlists, and the matching system will attempt to pair you with players who also have the DLC.
The achievements are a bit bugged, so they may not even pop up even if you do exactly what the achievement description says. I’m pretty sure you actually have to kill an enemy who is airborne though, not just shoot him.

Nope, you just gotta shoot 'em. It popped for me midway through killing the guy off the man cannon. I know this achievement is bugged and may need to be tried again.
Ahh thanks. Yeah it must be that I have to kill the guy. Sounds like you already got the achievement, before you get it though it reads “Shoot an enemy who is airborne from a man cannon.” Well thanks again

I got it by sticking a person on a ledge above me. Definitely glitched!
I think its a bad idea in general when devs make DLC achievements for certain maps, because if all the people you are playing with don’t have it, you can’t get it. Especially when it says “matchmaking only”. So custom games aren’t an option.
I also hate luck based achievements. cheap and stupid.
I despise DLC achievements in this game, based too much on luck and keeps me from completion.
I remember that the ODST achievement popped for me just by meleeing an enemy on Harvest. I was pretty happy.
Still having trouble with Bigfoot, really don’t like BTI in this game, too.
