I’ve wondered if codes you get from figures, hot pockets, etc, are region locked. I have a friend in Australia that I would like to give a code to, but I’m not sure if it will be region locked and he can’t use it. Just want to know.

Well I didn’t get the codes from Monster since I don’t drink it. I got them from the figures.
If this friend is trustworthy enough you could give them to said friend to try and if they dont work then no harm. Just use them or give to someone more local.

As long as it’s the actual XBOX LIVE code, it’s not region locked, been giving away all kinds to people in different countries. In case of the Monster Drinks, just redeem the code on their website then give the 25 digit code to said friend.
To make it short and simply; as long as it’s the 25 Digit code you redeem on Xbox, it’s not region locked.
