Are armor effects like "Birthday Party" gone?

That’s actually pretty important to me. I despise every form of “Birthday Party.” I don’t want kids screaming through my TV, real or not. Whether I actually get Halo 4 and keep my gold Xbox Live subscription depends entirely on if I’m going to be forced to hear that while playing in War Games. I’m well aware of how stupid it is to care that much about something like that, but I recently destroyed my Reach disk out of hoping to never ever hear those cheers again. Yes, I actually hate one small detail in an otherwise perfectly fun (to me) game so much that I would do that; it’s probably a safe bet that I have a fair share of problems of the mental variety.

Anyway, is it known if such things will exist in any form in Halo 4?

That’s unfortunate. I liked that effect (and the other visual-only ones); but then again they made it really easy to spot hiding players.

I’m pretty sure they are gone. I’ll miss my Legendary flames… the rest I didn’t like and were annoying.

I looked at it as being Bungie’s humour, like a little bit of quirkiness. To me the gave the game character, even though Reach was meant to be all depressing and the end of a planet during war. It reminded you that it was a game… to have fun in.

Yeah nothing confirmed yet. Im hoping something similar comes out. Skins are nice and all but I rather have something interactive that moves and stuff like the flames. I have no idea what to suggest though. I just want something like that.
