Are all playlist going to be drop in and drop out? I’m concerned that this will lead to even more quitting. I know in other games I usually don’t want to join a game in progress. There’s too many thing that can go wrong like it could be at the end of a game and so on.
I’m surprised we haven’t heard more about this. Thanks if anyone knows the answer.
I’d like to know the same. Hopefully it is just a search option so we can decide whether or not we get put into games that have already started.
We don’t know yet, but the join-in-progress and quit-when-you-want are really welcome sdditions.
I hope not. I kind of hate the feature, you always end up joining games halfway through and your team is getting destroyed. If they have ranked playlists, the feature should be omitted from them, to purify stats and keep games level.
I really hope not. Maybe there’s an option to join any game or join a game that hasn’t started yet. I hate joining when there’s only a few seconds left in a game!
It most definitely should not be in a ranked playlist if there is such a thing.
There might be certain playlists that support the opt in and out feature. For the MLG playlist I’m pretty sure they are going to have it not “opt in and out”(assuming they can make playlists like that).

I hope so. I was playing L4D2 the other day and it was just horrible with drop in and drop out. There was no kind of team cohesion. Not to mention teams booting people for absolutely no reason.
