NOT the aim assist or bullet magnetism, they’re fine. Specifically the deadzones. This game’s deadzones are so terribly large and have been shown time and time again by endless YouTube and Xbox DVR clips to be contributing to the broken aiming, I cannot stand playing multiplayer and using the pistol knowing my shots are missing because I can’t fine tune my aim. If 343i insist on keeping this crappy system I’m just gonna stick to MCC because that game’s aiming works perfectly yet this game is atrocious.
Even the pros like Ogre 2 and Ninja (Champion 4 and 6 respectively in Team Arena) have come out and said the aiming is broken so it’s clearly not an issue of skill for them either. Can you actually communicate with us 343i?

Updates say they’re fine tuning “controls” which says absolutely nothing about what aspect of the controls they’re fixing or if it’s even regarding the aim.

They have said they are aware of the issue with aiming and will tweak it. I’m paraphrasing. But yes they are going to try to make it better. They did not give specifics. I don’t have the link. But I’m sure you can search for it. I have posted the link in many threads.

I haven’t been on the website so how do you expect me to see these threads exactly? You could have just given me the information I wanted in the first place but don’t worry about it.

This update will offer more custom fine-tuned control over controller settings (hint: independent vertical/horizontal sensitivities, the ability to calibrate your own dead zones, more granularity in sensitivity, and more). I think it would be cool if they gave us customizable settings, but also some presets maybe? “Classic” and “Snappy” or “Smooth”. Something like that. It’s definitely an awesome testament to their dedication to the community to acknowledge our concerns. It’s gonna be awesome if they get it right. Looking forward to December for sure!
