Since bungie is leaving halo will 343 moniter most of there games such as halo 3 and possibly reach, becuase it would be nice to have a bungie favorites update or something with new playlists, 343 should be the father of all halo, and take control of all. They shouldnt make bungies mistake of abandoning some games like halo pc. Also are they capable of bringing back halo 2 to live, and are they capable of monitering halo 3’s bungie favorites and still make updates with a seperate team in 343.
Sorry for grammer.
anyone know if its capable or not, or if there going to, i wish a 343 member could read this, i want ot know things!!!
1.) I have no idea what the heck 343 is.
2.) There’s still microsoft. Hopeing they take over.
1: 343i is a subsidiary of Microsoft, which handles everything Halo! They are often just called Halo Waypoint
They will probably continue supporting Halo 3 for several years still, and when they eventually stop keeping track of stats, you’ll still be able to play it on Xbox Live, as the severs won’t be shut down. As for Halo 2, that will never happen, because Microsoft have shut down all of the Original Xbox Live support, including servers. A possibility would be if Halo 2 was made into an XBL arcade, with live support. I’m not sure if that’s possible.
There is a bungie employee that still updates Halo pc, so I don’t really know how they abandoned it.

Halo 1 PC has been officially abandoned, only one employee @ Bungie, called sawnose volunteered to make 2 patches for the game to solve the security issues with server crashing.
Now development support and customer services for that game is finished.
Halo 3 is now a dead weight, development support for it is finished.
Halo 3 will get minimalist support, but it’s not going offline, and I also don’t think in 343’s call. We need to do some sleuthing on this but I’m pretty certain that back when Bungie left Microsoft that the deals was Microsoft got all of Halo, except Halo 3… meaning lack of support falls on Bungies shoulders.

Sawnose is the only official person working on it, but there’s still the huge modding community. Especially since he removed the CD check.
