Are 343 doing a similar service to BungiePro?

I’ve always wanted to make machinima and I have in the past a couple times, using BungiePro. I have plans to do more and I really want to but I can’t afford a capture card, not a decent one anyway and Bungie’s service that allowed users to render videos and download them to their computer to make videos/montages/machinima/whatever was really easy and convenient to use. I haven’t heard 343 say anything about providing a similar service but has anyone? I would really love to know if 343 have any plans to do this or if anyone has any information about it.

EDIT: Please keep this thread alive! Hopefully with enough demand for a video rendering service in Halo 4 with this thread, 343 will take note!

I always thought it was just an advanced file share but if that’s the case then that is sick. I really hope they bing that back then for everyone’s sake.

I would PAY any amount of money for that to happen.

They haven’t announced anything like that yet, at least for Halo 4, they said back in March they had no plans to have a video rendering service for Halo: Reach.

I had asked a similar question about that, but hopefully 343i does something with rendering. The Game Capture Card take longer.

I’m not trying to start a flame war or anything, but I would hope they would let us render and upload online in similar fashion to CoD MW3

I’d pay more than 1600 points for this and I’m totally with you on showing support for this page but the post has been up for over an hour with only 6 replies so I doubt a 100 page thread will happen any time soon. Still though, thanks for your reply, hopefully 343 may see this and add a similar service in a patch or something.

A video rendering service for Reach? That never happened :frowning: Hopefully there’s enough demand for a service in Halo 4 and hopefully 343 do something about it.

I want this service so bad. I don’t want to pay for the service. Microsoft has enough power to make this happen. It’s just whether 343i wants to do it or not.

Apologies, slight typo there, I meant they had NO plans for a video render option in Halo: Reach at that time.

Even the best of threads can get off to a slow start. Have a little patience, we are already at 11 replies. The more people that see it, the more support we get. Then out of nowehre, we have the most popular thread on this whole forum.

I remember at some halocon thing, they said they had things to help machinima, hope this is still a thing because machinima is a big part of halo

Aren’t they meant to be revamping Waypoint to coincide with the launch of Halo 4?

I took that as them adding the features of Bungie Pro, so we can render etc. As well as H4 Service records and stuff.

I may be very wrong.

Any rendering service is good rendering, if it’s in Waypoint or in game, or something in the marketplace. Just yield to the fans that count.
