I don’t post about farming cause there is nothing we can do about it, only 343 can do something about it. I don’t want to go into war zone because on the 1/3 chance that I get ARC I know that I’m going to get farmed on… I have never rated quit halo 5 till tonight. 3 ARC games 2 of which were back to back I’m sick of the -Yoink-
I like A.R.C. The armouries are actually contested as opposed to outright ignored. If your base is getting rushed go to a different one because odds are there’s no one at it because they’re all trying to take your base.

That’s great for the first 2 minutes of the game then the cap your closest armory and you can only spawn at home, then while you are kept at your damn home base they take the garage now your are trapped

They seemed to have agknowledged it, as they highlighted all the fireteams who got Achilles the first week. Which. Is impossible to do without farming… And there’s just no way to fix it without changing Warzone completely.
The sad part about it is… They can easily get the same amount of progress done through normal play in the relative amount of time, if not longer. The reason they do it like this is because it’s, “easier” and they get a win with little to no effort… It sucks but it’s just something that’s part of the game now…

While they’re all at your armoury go take the garage. There’s tunnels that lead to the base that are never used up until farming at the home base so it’s fairly easy to slip by. By making ballsy rushes like that they expose themselves. If it’s not a big rush on your armoury then why are you losing it? A few enemies aren’t hard to deal with and all it does is stall you so that they can take the garage. Then everyone will spawn at the garage and a few people can go take the other armoury.

I like this map too as opposed to the other maps. But it doesn’t help when all the bases are in such close proximity to each other… You can’t just simply: “Go to a different one.”
Playing against an organized Company also doesn’t help with this. They will send one or two people to cap their armory and the Garage while the rest of their team bum-rushes your armory already locking you into your home base…
The maps are designed horribly just to get people to waste REQs so they can buy more. I mean, who thought it was a good idea to put a vehicle spawn pointing out into the battlefield from the garage? Just what?
edit: an organized team will make sure no one gets through the tunnels. Usually pitting ghosts and hogs (more often ONI hogs and Ghost Ultras) bottle necked up in there to prevent anyone from getting out. 343 even have them as highlights saying they’re funny. (Which they are sometimes, glad 343 have a sense of humor.)
And here I thought the people camping at the garage vehicle spawn was the issue.

I think the only way they can fix it is by giving it to everyone for free this march update. I don’t think 343 realized how farmy it was going to be. They should have made the requirements a little more obscure.

True. I hope it’ll happen. But the backlash from Spartan Companies saying they “earned it” will be butturt and blame 343. But I want to happen just so I can laugh In the faces to those who’ve spawn camped my team and continued to send me messages saying, “I got Achilles… Suck it losers!”
If u’re playing against a full team of 12 farmers, it doesn’t really matter which map, the match will be annyoing anyways.

Even if they do just give it out it won’t stop people from seeing that this is an easy win, I think the only solution would be to redesign the map or remove it from the Game like they did Orion, I don’t want to see them cut more content from the game but this exploit is ruining thousands of players war zone experience.

I STRONGLY DISAGREE… I’ve never been trapped on apex and I’ve only been farmed on one on stormbreak
I like Arc, it’s my favorite next to Noctus. As for the farming thing, I haven’t been farmed in a week or so - it seems to be progressively disappearing after all those threads were made about it. And yes - I’ve gone against many, many of the top companies recently, they’ve all killed the core pretty much asap. No farming. I was actually surprised since going against these companies previously, the opposite team would almost always get farmed.

And unfortunately, all the companies that didn’t farm basically would have poured all that work for absolutely nothing. Also, kill farming is only a small part of the armor commendations. There are many hard to get commendations - kills are by far the easiest. For example, there’s the commendation for sniping drivers. Or the commendation for getting cluster luck, fastball, or last shot.
I’ve never been kill farmed on any Warzone map. When you’re in a team of randoms vs. a party then you always struggle regardless of the map.
I think they need to add another route along the water between the Armories. It is way to easy to be held back on that map.
March on Stormbreak is my most disliked map, but A.R.C. is a close second.
The problem with Stormbreak is that you can be forced to endure lost games for much longer than needed even if the enemy team is not actively spawn killing you. Killing Lochagos and capturing the Fortress is a huge advantage early on that rarely can be overcome.
As for A.R.C., it’s definitely the easiest map to spawn kill the enemy team (although Stormbreak is very bad at that as well). There are very few routes between the home bases and the center of the map, so, if your team loses the three bases, it’s very hard to recapture one of them. Your only move is to use active camo and hope no one sees you.
Storm break is much worse.
