Arby tips

I’ve started playing as the arby more, and I’m not to good at him I’m never sure what I should be doing, so I normally rush there covie (temple 2nd) maybe drop a few suicidegrunts and go double summit banshee pump as soon as I can, or vamps if I have to. is this a decent strat? tips.
btw I normally play as arby in three’s

Assuming you’re running something like Arbiter, Brute/arby, forge/anders, and if the enemy has a brute, one arbiter is playing temple third defence.

Temple 2nd arbiter, build a few suicide grunts. If going double arbiter offense, aim to drop all their pads, then keep them on 0 pads. Attack nearest brute / arbiter base, hit the pads, especially bless pads. Get fiendish so you do more damage/ Deny summits, then deny expos while your unsc expands or goes offensive with their hogs. Try to force their arbiter to recall.

If they’re good, the enemy arbiter will be at your base hitting your pads. Upgrade citadel, forcing him to deny your pads rather than kill those already built. Build turrets and pads while trying to out damage their arbiter. Que and un-que pads and turrets to make him move off your base, so he does less damage. Walk suicide grunts into his arbiter if he isn’t paying attention.

Your unsc goes hogs or tanks, either forcing the arbiter to recall with grenadier or killing him off with tanks.

Usually while playing arbiter, you’ll go single summit, 5 bless pads, and build vamps.
If you’re out covying them, go banshees for more base damage, and deny their covy expos.

Against a brute, the purpose of vamps is to stop the enemy covy from building banshees, while raging gauss and tanks.

Both covies keep their vamps back till the enemy vamps do something stupid (ie, flying over your base/tanks/arbiter. Stasis then rage or target down with your arbiters/tanks/guass etc.

Basics of arbiter offense.

keep arbi away from gauss hogs they ram you die you have to hunt em down before there gauss some ppl will maybe say different but as an arbi i know not to waste time/money raging a mass of gauss unless your tech3 but even do they can dbomb you and you die

> If you’re going to rage gauss, make sure you can rage micro

fixed.

arby>gauss

temple 2nd, I like to go 1 summit and upgrade blades before I hit their base. One summit so you can still rage down. If you are attacking his base send your ghost to the back of his base for… 1)see if turrets are being built in the back, 2) have it attacking main base just in case he is trying to get a shield up. I tend to not make suicide grunts but go for upgraded supply pads/temple with them. You could hit main with like 4 grunts and slice it down, but that is before he has citidal, but you might screw yourself over if you don’t get the base down. Go for the pads and its a forsure bet youll slow him down. Always keep the summit down
