Arbiter's Story....*Spoilers*

Did anyone feel like the Arbiter’s involvement in the story lack substance or purpose in the grand scheme of things? I guess it makes sense a little bit if the importance was was the official end to the covenant I suppose (although in the EU there’s hundreds of Covenant splinter groups). It just to me felt like 343 thought they needed to throw him in there just for appearances just to make the fan base happy. Don’t get me wrong I love seeing me some Arbiter beastness. However, with everything else that occurs in the story it seems like the missions he is seen in are just fillers and don’t have great importance. What do you guys think? Am I just being crazy?

BTW loved the game and not hating. I’m just seeming what everyone else thinks about different aspects of the story arc.

I thought it was fine. They are currently fighting a war on their home planet and a Guardian happens to be on said planet. I have read most of the books so I guess there was info on the war there so it didn’t seem out of place to me.

There’s a book that covers the inner covenant war? Which one is that? I read the Last Light book recently and I’ll prolly pick up whichever book covers the war so I understand that aspect better.
