Docked Covenant Ship

It seems in the picture above there is a Docked Covenant Ship near the bottom of the Infinity, it was seen in a Different picture, alot of people think its a shadow, now explain to me how a shadow will be next to the UNSC Infinity and floating under it? Its impossible Shadows need a Solid Surface to well Shade the area, sadly in this picture its not the case, there is no Solid Area for a Shadow to be, my conclusion is that its most likely an Elite Ship Docked onto the UNSC Infinity, and Arbiter might be aboard, we might see him near the end of the game, if I recall at the begining and end of Halo 3, Arbiter says:

Beginning: “Master Chief Aims gun into Arbiters mouth”
Johnson: “Chief! The Arbiters with us, I have enough to deal with so try not to kill each other!”
Arbiter: “Were it so easy…”

End: “The Monument of Heroes Fallen”
Lord Hood: “Hard to believe hes dead…”
Arbiter: ‘Looks into the Sky’ “Were it so easy”
Arbiter walks away, and fly’s a phantom to his ship

Now for all we know he might have found this planet and been sucked in… and since this planet damaged the UNSC Infinity, it might have done the same to his ship, thus making the cloaking device malfunction. Its all a Theory, but my idea is that, he knew Humanity needed a savior and decided to return home, gather more Elites, and try to find the chief, accidentally ended up there in the middle of Elites vs. Humans, these elites on Requiem likely do not know about the truce, but if they do their probably just not abiding it.

If the theory is that all the Elites on Sanghelios are at war due to the Rebels and such, then maybe he returned and got as much as he could and left the planet, doubt that’s the case.

Possible.

I like this theory.

First, that is DEFINITELY a docked Covenant/Elite cruiser. Zoom in on the picture and it’s quite clear.

I like your theory but I don’t think it will happen quite like this. The Elites didn’t have a great friendship with humanity in Halo 3. They just both wanted the Covenant defeated so they both teamed up against them.

If you’ve ever noticed, all Elite vehicles are green and all Covenant vehicles are purple. That kind of looks like it could be Covenant. Which means, the Covenant are boarding the infinity in an attempt to stop the humans. We haven’t really got enough information to come up with a brilliant theory yet but I still think yours is quite good and could hold some truth.

why do the marines look like they are dressed as captain falcon? sorry off topic but i remember another screenshot of the marine but zoom in on the tank in this one.

Definitely covenant ship. The covenant seem to be allied both (the ones in the ghosts) and enemy (those in the wraith).

Apparently Falcons, Ghosts, Scorpions, Wraiths, Warthogs, Banshees, and Mongoose are now confirmed.

I’ve had my fair share of gameplay that is far more in-depth than what any damn book (coughGlasslandscough) will tell me.

In H3, Elites could be seen paying respect to dead marines.

Working alongside marines, they were a powerful team.

On Floodgate, if you make your Elites wield swords, the marines will provide covering fire while the Elites will completely destroy everything.

And according to Halo wiki,

On Gravemind, Elites will comment on your Brute kills. If you manage to bring your marine prisoners to the mausoleum battle and stop them from getting involved, they will spectate and comment, and apparently cheering for the Elites.

Also, you neglected to mention the Flood were also a threat to the Elites (and a greater priority, as indicated by Voro Nar 'Mantakree and Xytan 'Jar Wattinree exchange of words, the temporary truce between Brutes and Elites during a battle, and the Elites maintaining a quarantine over Earth and helping out with the crashed Flood ship on Floodgate instead of pursuing Truth’s forces through the portal).

Nonetheless, you have a point about the vehicle coloring. But there is one thing that we should also take into consideration. In Reach, scale-like patterns were given to Covenant vehicles. How do we know Separatist vehicles still have this?

But the arbiter witnessed something none of the other elites saw or knew about one particular human.

Arbiter thought that humans were disgraceful, a race full of cowards who run from battle when they had no other choice, but with one in particular human, he saw difference. Each human is different in many ways as I assume the elites are too.

John 117 in one of his darkest hours, decided he needed to be at earth more then he needed to be with Cortana, he took a ship straight to earth, a Key Ship, thus resulting in his suit entering lock mode at the beginning of Halo 3, not only did he survive this and get up from being severally damaged, but he ran too wards an Ex Foe (Arbiter) (as he didn’t know they were on good terms then) and was going to kill him, and no matter what had happened Arbiter witnessed his bravery, Arbiter witnessed him go into the heart of the flood, and get Cortana, Arbiter witnessed him go to the Halo Ring, and destroy it, along with the Ark, the last thing Arbiter saw was one single human stay in the bay of a ship known as Forward Unto Dawn, instead of going to the bridge, he stayed behind, thus in a way proving to Arbiter that humans are not cowards, which also leads up to Arbiter maybe thinking that he doubts chief is dead, anyway just cause they had them green in Halo 3 doesn’t mean there’s gonna be green in Halo 4 and that ship underneath the infinity is just a silhouette so you can’t/shouldn’t instantly assume its gonna be a bad guy cause if it was the infinity would have annihilated it already. Anyway I have my doubts that its an Enemy.

I don’t know about all that. but it looks to me that the infinity is taking off because if you look behind master chief there are some considerably large boulders falling down. so this could be a screen shot of the last mission.

sorry about the double post my internet was crapping out on me.

Doubtfully the last mission I think the infinity gets off the ground way before that, and they wouldn’t leave chief behind considering they just got him back.

> Noble Protocol

Well, as far as the Arbiter is concerned with humans, he still doesn’t really hold the human species in high regard. To him there are SOME honorable humans. With everything going on on Sanghelios and beyond, I doubt Chief is on his mind. Doesn’t mean the theory is 100% wrong, but I wouldn’t put much faith in the Arbiter.

Well I know for a certaintity that Arbiter will be returning at some point in the campaign! I’m really hoping he does in Halo 4! I can just see Chief making some witty comment when he sees him!

Agreed, but if there is a full on war there, it is unlikely the arbiter would win, with the remaining elites he had at his disposal, it is likely he’d flee, you know what I mean? Thus resulting him into searching for a habitable place.

I wouldn’t count the Arbiter out yet. After all we don’t know who the victor is. For all we know, the “Covenant” in Halo 4 could very well be the losers of the Elite civil war who fled. Would explain why they are scavenging the Dawn and looking on Requiem for something.

OMG THAT CRUISER IS NOTHING TO THE INFINITY!!! I wonder how big a carrier would be to it.

The Arbiter will most likely help the UNSC. There are some possibilities that happened on those elites and the arbiter

-The elites on Shanghelios thought they where still at war (thinking about communication) and where sending the next generation of elites and got lost then found the half of the Foreword Unto Dawn and attacked
-They wanted to be independent again and Aribiter didn’t and was killed :frowning:
-Another group of elites was there

Anything that happens, I don’t wanna fight Arby.
