it seems the SMG is more powerful than the assault rifle anyone else agree? Just seems more accurate and powerful close range. The AR should be mid to close range and SMG really just close range but it seems the SMG is powerful even at mid range against an AR. Opinions?
It seems like both weapons are significantly more powerful than their previous versions. I like that, but I think the kill times for all the weapons are just a little too fast in general.

I disagree. If you are using a weapon in it’s optimal range the kill times should be quick. But if you are trying to snipe with an smg or ar it should be very ineffective.
AR requires a minimum of 12 rounds to kill whereas the SMG only needs 13, with the SMGs much high fire rate it dominates close and close-mid ranges, the AR excels in close-mid and Mid ranges and acts as useful support for Mid-long and Long ranges

Not if you use burst for AR. The SMG has good grouping only at close range, The reticule spread is atrocious for the SMG

Just report, and move on. You added your comment after the thread had sat dormant for 3 hours. Granted, I don’t know what forum activity was like at the time but I imagine the post had almost fallen off the page. By commenting “don’t revive” you… literally revived the same topic lol.
