all have their uses but which one do you guys use when you don’t have a headshot weapon?
I’d usually go for the Suppressor just because it feels smoother… It’s pretty much up to personal preference.
Well the SR and the Suppressor are very unstable weapons imo…one is good for taking down shields, but not for killing. The other is only really usable in very close range…and even then I don’t like it. Between those 3 the only stable auto weapon which is useful for almost every situation is obviously the AR.
The other 2 I only pickup by coincidence when I’m out of ammo and they are the only choices available
AR but the Suppressor and Storm rifle can be just as deadly if you master them.
The Assault Rifle is good a taking down shields, the Storm Rifle is good and damaging health, and the Suppressor is mixed. All in all the Assault Rifle is probably the best choice as it has the longest range, fast bullet travel, and very easy to master using.
I tend to vary. I have a strong preference for the Assault Rifle, and tend to use scavenged Suppressors pretty frequently (And effectively). However, I rarely if ever use the Storm Rifle.

AR takes a bit of aiming as well and can be surprisingly deadly.

Ar by far, it has damage, a decent accuracy, and a bigger clip for its damage in close range. It is a very useful weapon in most situations, the suppressor is also a handy weapon but less accurate in my opinion.

Assault rifle. It’s just better.
I tend to use DMRs and battle rifles, but i would rank them assault rifle, suppressor, storm rifle, with ar being the best. All ar useful if you can use them well though
Suppressor is the most devastating at close range, as in 5ft away (does 0 damage farther than 15ft). The AR has the most range and seems to be the easiest to handle. Plus many players use it (default weapon) so you can often find ammo for it. The storm rifle has a short range and the longest reload/cooldown period, but has many perks. The storm rifle cools down while using Hardlight Shield or sprinting, making it a go-to gun for one on one battles. I’ve gone on killing sprees with the Storm Rifle and yet to ever run out of ammo. Despite all this, my favorite automatic weapon has to be the AR with the Suppressor being last.
Assault Rifle just because I enjoy the classic weapon and it’s updated feel and improvement since reach.
Assault Rifle for MP. Storm Rifle for Campaign and Spartan Ops against shielded enemies.
