I know many others also need it but they are either too casual to post here or just don’t know they want it.
First off let me start off by saying Multi-team needs to return as a full time playlist regardless of anything else I post from here on out. I NEED multi-team to enjoy this game just as many people NEED Doubles and NEED Snipers.
Multi-team is a frantic enjoyable(somewhat less competitive) playlist. Multi-team is more like a party playlist then anything else that I can try to explain. At this moment in time the only other “party playlist” is Flood which is just not my thing. Other than that really none of the playlists usher in this “party” feeling. Every playlist feels far to competitive for my liking(including Regicide and that horrible Throwback FFA).
Since multi-team would more than likely be 3v3v3v3 I would highly discourage allowing DMR’s as starting weapons. Maybe even removing the other precision weapons in general. AR, Suppressor, and Storm Rifle are all acceptable as starting weapons. Make DMR, BR, LR and Carbine map pickups. The last thing I want ruining multi-team is 9 people shooting me with a DMR all at once. At least make them do some work around the map to gain those weapons.
KOTH, 3 ball, and Slayer are the only needed gametypes. Maybe Extraction too but I haven’t had enough time with that gametype to even fully understand it yet.
343 PLEASE… The relaxed/casual/less competitive side of the Halo community needs a playlist like this. The Halo 4 hoppers are just filled with DMR pros. I want to use the AR and other automatic starting weapons. They are useless in any other playlist. When you guys and gals at 343 said you wanted players to play how they choose you forgot to mention that their choices are:
A) Use a DMR(or other precision weapon) to keep up with everyone else
or
B) Use an AR(or other automatic weapon) and get destroyed.
Less skilled players need a playlist like this. Thank you for taking the time to read and consider. If anyone else agrees or disagrees all feedback would be great. I hope I’m not the only person who thinks this way. Multi-team must make a return soon.

What makes you think everyone wants to be forced to use an AR again, that’s one of the reasons why there is variety, I want to use what I want to use. BR, Carbine what ever, and not all game-modes and maps will be AR friendly and IMO making it just CQC’s will slow the gameplay down. And Multi-Team is played by everyone they can’t just make it just for less skilled players.
I’m missing Multi-Team too! The only playlist that is able to quench my chaos thirst in Halo 4 is Oddball and I fear that it might get removed in the future (given 343i’s insistence on rotating playlists).
P.S. You’re wrong about the AR being useless.
Firstly, I’d like to say that I’d rather have multiteam as 2v2v2v2 like in Halo 3 (just my personal experience, it played better)
And I like AR starts, but I don’t mind variety, especially when it comes to maps like Complex or Solace when close range combat isn’t always favored. I would advocate for BR starts, Carbine starts, for larger maps but whatever the weapon chosen, everyone begins with it to start off on an equal playing field.

Do you bash everyone and every idea? What makes you think that YOU SPEAK FOR EVERYONE? This game clearly isn’t playable. Is this the first game you were good at? He said IN MULTI-TEAM. Was not going to affect any other playlist. I say give it to him. Separate the casuals from competitive. Make the game fun again. I wouldn’t mind going into a TEAM DUALs type of game again.

Thank you. I’m glad that someone agrees. The people that want to use what they want would have like 9 other playlists to choose from. I’m just asking 343 to make one playlist more casual friendly. It seems like all the playlists are far too competitive with 90% of the players using the DMR. I’d love for multi-team to return and I’d love to get some AR action in every once in a while.
To the guy that said to AR isn’t useless… It is useless when you’re playing a full team that has a single idea of teamwork. A single AR no matter the distance will never kill a couple DMRs.

Don’t knock it until you try it. AR starts doesn’t mean you’re forced to use an AR. You always have the option of using your secondary or finding a weapon on the map. You know the way Halo was intended to be played up until Halo 4? The idea of starting with the AR over the DMR/BR/Carbine/LR is to make sure the game doesn’t become an OP hectic mess. The one thing that kills multi-team is a team full of pure competitiveness. Make it AR starts and the hardcores will be less inclined to play and when they do they won’t have the advantage of starting with their spawn killing rifles. AR starts give the game a more level playing field. I would even go as far to say have a multi-team playlist and allow votes for AR-Start and BR-Start gametypes. Just no DMR starts. It’s toooo OP for a game where you have 9 other people shooting at you.
