Even in Warzone the game is crawling with them. The thing absolutely needs a range nerf.
I have yet to die from an AR from any kind of decent range.
If its good then use it. Oh,you just want the game to change to your liking , so you will then have the advantage.
I don’t understand why people refer to AR’s as “spray and pray weapons”. You can spray with it, but you can also use it with some skill and shoot controlled bursts.
SMG is far more spray and pray.
In its range close to mid it should be more effective than BR/DMR. If the person can keep his target locked on you for the time-to-kill otherwise it would be a useless weapon. The skill in this sense would be being able to choose the right tool for the job.
Don’t get me wrong I love using the BR/DMR, have been a staunch BR user since H2 but I love the fact that the AR is useful again and the whole idea of “spray-and-pray” weapons requiring no skill is frankly utter nonsense, you need good situational awareness and positioning. It gets its bad name because newer players tend to use this weapon first before learning longer range variants.
I guarantee you a better player will win if both players are using an AR in the effective range, if you’re using a BR too close you chose the wrong weapon for that battle

The SMG you can’t hit people with from an absurd range even while holding the trigger down and has more spread.
Is your intent to troll? Because it’s a funny claim to state that precise shooting shouldn’t be rewarded. If an AR is spraying you from the distance and you’re not hitting them with your BR, M6 or DMR, you do indeed deserve to die and they live.
If it’s AR vs AR, the one that pulses is much more likely to win than the one spraying. Especially once someone is descoped. If a player is ambushed and they can’t descope their attacker, that’s the name of game.
