AR Spawns on Regret

I feel like they are a little too risky to get to and it’s hard to see if they are there with the way that part of the map is with the lighting/textures. I don’t mind BR starts but I don’t think they should be the only starts in Halo 5 MP in the final game, they get a little boring after a while for me, but that’s not the issue here.

Unless there are others that I’ve missed, the only locations that they spawn at are against the walls next to the entrance to the towers on either side of the map, with all the overgrown foliage textures. That area is usually camped frequently by other players in most of the game’s I’ve played on Regret, making it a pain to get to the Assault Rifle without having to kill multiple enemies first, and with the dark lighting in the shadows in that spot it’s hard to check if it’s there from a distance without exposing yourself to enemy fire.

Anyone else agree that it should be moved to a more secure and practical environment for this particular map?

I think they should swap the AR and SMG spawns.

AR’s also spawn near the 2 grav lifts in the bottom of both the bases. They’re hard to see, but they are sitting down there.

Ah thanks didn’t notice those before, they probably get picked up a lot as well. I still think the spawn placement of the other 2 ARs is weird, most of the regular weapons are in an area that is behind or near cover, but those particular spots are visible from all the way down each side of the map. Not sure where else to put them, but I’m sure there’s some other part of the map that would make a little bit more sense.
