Lmao, how are you going to sit here and act like the AR isn’t broken?, how are you going to act like it isn’t way to easy to mow people down?
If I had to guess it’s because you can’t aim so your AR sucks, regardless you can act like it’s balanced all you want, this change was made to make the game easier for you and players like you, ofcourse you’re going to think it’s balanced, it helps you suck less,
If you’re a good player then you should have no problem using the sidekick’s lower TTK to own AR noobs.
The AR even though it’s finally viable stands zero chance against the BR which is S tier for sure! It’s the strongest BR in the series, let’s face it the Halo 3 BR sucked compared to Halo 2.

thats not the issue here you, the sidekick is great and honestly well balanced, id rather have the magnum but still, but the AR takes 0 effort at all to even use, just hold RT and aim assist quite literally does the rest, yes the sidekick has a faster ttk but is alot more difficult to use especially mid range, AR needs a damage nerf

AR doesn’t need ANY damage nerf. It’s finally a worthy weapon and no one wants the terrible Halo 3 AR again which couldn’t kill a graveyard of tied up corpses.
No weapon can do that, since you can’t kill something that ain’t alive
The H3 AR was perfectly fine at killing people, skill issue.
Sorry it required extra skill to get that skill and you couldn’t just run forward while holding RT.
Some people accept the AR, BR and Sidekick just the way they are, while other players don’t.
There’s some stuff contributing to your lose against those weapons, aim, and poor use of the dance of halo.
I love every weapon just the way it is, and I also heard people is complaining about the COMMANDO, people asking for a nerf for that weapon? Why not just convert this COMMANDO in a DMR so the use is more damaging, use of skill and technique.
I know some people would hate me saying all this, but those who complain on this weapons show how bad players they’re using this specifc weapons.
Have you seen Lucid? I don’t know if he complain about the weapons, he makes this weapons looks useful.
People need training and adaptation, play with what you have and instead of complain enjoy the game.
I play at a pretty decent level and I can honestly say I’m pretty comfortable using everything. People just don’t want to deviate from the option which requires the least effort, even whilst playing social. Exception being the Ravager: that’s hopeless.
AR does need toned down. It’s a menace in FFA especially and has ruined the mode completely for me.
