Halo Ranked has always had BR starts since Halo 2.

Doesnt matter if you disagree. It did this in all previous halo titles. Look at the mag ar fest that is halo 5. I mean think about it. You wanna run around with an ar and br. Everyone but you is pointing out that there are other weapons on the map.
Having two weapons doesnt stop anyone from swapping. If you dont swap weapons as need when you have two then I would guess you are not very good in ranked. My guess would be silver 2? And there are others that agree with me just like others agree with you. So dont generalize. It makes you look silly.
My guess is that you are afraid that it will create a game play style in ranked you dont liked or dont do well against. Where as i see it as opening up the ranked play to multiple game styles and create more of a challenge. So what should ranked be?Playing against others in one play style only or playing against others in multiple play styles? Seems like ranked should be about who is the best all around, not who is the best BR player.

It would stop me from swapping. Why would I when the game gives me 2 of the most versatile weapons in the game. Plus games like that usually have casual players without mics lean to them. Ranked its healthy with tactical players rocking mics at the moment. Needa to stay that way
I think the AR would certainly never get involved in ranked playlists with how the AR is now to be honest with you guys. The AR takes very little skill to use compared to other weapons like the BR, Commando, etc, and how a player can be effective with it relies heavily on RNG (how lucky you are with bloom and bullet magnetism whilst using).
High rate of fire + High spread [bloom] + bullet magnetism + low recoil = low skill ceilingā¦ [ā¦] The very reasons of why you wonāt ever see this weapon on ranked with this state that it is in.

Ranked is unplayable at present. BR starts and every game with a 200+ ping. Canāt kill anyone even after emptying 2 full clips into them and dead as soon as first bullet hits me.
Precision weapons are fine if everyone playing on a level playing field, which it isnāt now.
Even beating a Spartan on the back of the head results in me dying from said player beating me down from behind. Go figure.
Social full of cheats and ranked servers are rubbish. Iāll give it a couple of weeks after release date and then Iāll be deleting if nothing improves
