AR needs a nerf

It seems with both zoomed and unzoomed the recoil pattern is the same size when I tested, but when zoomed the ability to control the recoil pattern is easier, it also has a narrower cone of damage. The AR also has a headshot bonus and RRR increases when zoomed.

Unlike BR, AR doesn’t get knocked out of descope despite increasing red reticule range. Therefore it’s easier to control zoomed, tighter cone of damage zoomed, has a headshot bonus that is easier to achieve when zoomed (though still ultimately random due to poor accuracy), can’t be descoped and increases RRR when zoomed.

It’s good the AR is strong, there are many spaces it’s optimal to use in the 3 maps being played…but it also wins against non-power weapons in mid and mid-long fights. In most ranges on bazaar it’s superior, everything but between the 2 BR towers on recharge it’s superior, then only from BR spawn to BR spawn on Live Fire or the other open section would it lose.

The reason and result of this is the lack of descope, headshot bonus and an effective range that’s equal to any other weapon in 80-90% of 4v4 ranges. If you removed these aspects and made the AR competitive at 60-70% of all possible ranges it would alleviate many of the issues people are facing in regards to low magnetism and general gameplay, the AR and also grenades radius is too large which makes the game feel much more scrappy and chaotic than it needs to be.
