I love the the way u spawn with an AR and a magnum in Halo 5. Magnum as ur main weapon and AR as ur secondary. I like how u have to find a BR or DMR. And combat is more intense and close quarters.

I think that you should spawn with the AR only, and have the magnum as a common pickup weapon around the map.
The AR is starting to grow on me actually. Spray with the AR and whip out pistol for that 1 shot
I think it’s a real nice combination
Not the BEST of both worlds, but a very viable option of both worlds. Good starting point, where you can hold your own with them, yet you still can feel the desire to pick up something else and take advantage of what they bring to the table versus either your pistol or AR
Weapon balancing is one of the very best things 343 pulled off, this time around, in my opinion
