So ive finally unlocked the AR and BR with bayonets and ive finally got to equip them even though i havent had a kill with them yet to see what they look like, and i didnt realize they have a special animation when you melee!!

They look amazing, does anyone know if there a 1 hit kill?! havent had a kill with them yet as they take so long to get!! (still need to use the DMR and SMG with bayonet aswell, ill make a video once i do and ill try and get kills with them!)
1 hit kill with a spammable melee attachment on a weapon…I would hope not.
I’ve got both AR and BR bayonets…I can confirm that they are 1 hit kill and very very very useful when defending bases.

im just wondering because each weapon varient does something to improve it slightly… a bayonet must be something to do with melee…? Like i said i have yet to try it with them to be honest…

Are they really?! Im definitely gonna have to give these a go then!! if i can get to the right REQ level in time hahaha!! Takes forever!!

i usually just sell boosts like that, cant stand them but that… must be a good combo! or even the bayonet and active camo…!

I’f it’s 8 that’s relatively easy. Just get Spartan kills, assist or kill bosses…you’ll get there
If the person who you are stabbing punches you at the same time. It will be blocked and only destroy the shield (like a normal punch). So take advantage of the extra range.
The AR and BR bayonet are both REQ level 8…I’ve just put together a mini montage from my last game so will post a link in a few minutes.

Correct, isn’t possible to lunge? I only picked it up once and gotten only one kill from it

I think he means level 2 speed boost
The Bayonets are One-hit kills, it’s just like using a melee attack on another with the energy sword, but with your current weapon that has the bayonet attachment, and a bit of a longer melee range.

They can be good in assaulting bases also, if you get in close enough/pick your targets right, and of course you yourself not getting bombarded by enemy grenades 24/7.
Its funny killing people with the bayonets I don’t know why. I guess because they don’t expect to die in one melee hit.
