Hi guys and gals, killenjoke here. I’m here to drop my first grifball map in h5. First, but certainly not last.
Name:Aqueduct
gametype: Legendary grifball
description: this is a cylindrical map sunken in the depths of fathom. it features a 360 degree floor to ceiling curve that makes up the play area. Windows reveal the surprising beauty of the ocean depths, while dangers swim just beyond. Do not tap the glass.
If you aren’t familiar with legendary grifball that’s fine, it’s H5 grifball geared towards a more classic grifball format. the guys at grifball hub are currently working on it, but if you want to try the map out with the proper game type just turn of sprinting and spartan abilities. That should tide you over until the official version is released.
so far one iteration of this map or another has existed in nearly every Halo game in the franchise that has included forge, MCC being the only being the only exception, This is by far my favorite. the atmosphere makes the map feel completely different from any of the previous versions. The new tools included in H5 forge allowed me to do something I’ve never done before, create a completely cylindrical map. beyond that the glass pieces and windows allowed me to use the surroundings to my advantage, while play testing I found myself staring at the creatures that inhabit the murky depths of fathoms oceans.
I decided to create a page for the map on forgehub and grifballhub because quite frankly this forum sucks or showing off user generated content.
[edit]So, apparently you can’t post links to other sites? or something. Man, 343 really doesn’t like people sharing their content, No fileshare. no way to add images of our content, no way to link to sites that do show off images of our content. makes no sense.
